Once Upon A Puppet

Once Upon a Puppet builds a 2.5D puzzle platformer around a stagehand and a puppet. The theater setting turns scenery, lighting, and movement into part of the problem-solving. It is a Windows game; Android play through Winlator has not been verified for this release.

Storyline

Nieve, a stagehand cast out of the theater, becomes linked to a puppet named Drev. Their journey through the abandoned stage is about finding a place in a story that seems to have moved on without them.

Gameplay

Moving the pair together changes how you cross gaps and interact with stage mechanisms. Sets shift, props become platforms, and puzzles ask you to think about what is happening both onstage and behind it. The appeal is less about speed than about discovering how a theatrical trick can become a route forward.
